Writing 9: Write a narrative with dialogue

Something happened a few days ago which was a real test of my honesty. I was with Laura and we were walking to the city centre. Near the hospital front of the library and we found an envelope with 1.000€. We were really surprised. That was a lot of money and we didn't know what we could do in that situation.

After that Alba thought that the best idea was to bring that envelope to the police.
"Where did you find that?" The policeman asked.
"We found that envelope in front of the library 30 minutes ago." We answered.
"Thank you for bring it to the police centre, a woman has just called and she said that she had lost money in that zone." He said. "She was going to the bank but she lost the envelope in her way."

Finally, nothing bad happened, the woman who lost the money could have it back. At the beginning we had doubts if we should keep the money or give it to the police. When we saw that someone had lost it and could have it back, we felt happy and we knew done the right thing.

Writing 8: Writing about an experience

Last year I went to live in Australia for one year. At the beginning it was difficult because yearn my friends, my family, my city and food. But slowly I'm going to got away.
I was in Sydney in a family and I went to big school near my house.
This experience was fantastic and I recommended it's all the people because it changes your life, see the things differently and learn to appreciate things.
These days, I feel much happier and I learnt a lot.

Writing 7: Write an opinion essay

The government plans to introduce school on Saturday morning in order to improve the level of education. In my view, this would haven't a good idea.
In the first place, the students won't accept this plan and weather the teachers.
If the aim of the government is to lower the number of people who's angry.

Halloween

Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain an the Christian holy day of All Saints.

The celebration of Halloween survived most strongly in Ireland. It was an end of summer festival. Children would go from door to door in disguise as creatures from the underworld to collect treats, mainly fruit, nuts and the like for the festivities. These were used for playing traditional games like eating an apple on a string or bobbling for apples and other gifts in a basin of water, without using your hand.

Writing 3: Write a discussion essay

At the moment, scientists use animals for research a cure for different types of illness. If they couldn't do it, a lot of medicines may be wouldn't exist. Although some people don't agree with this idea, because animals suffer a lot for own benefit.

On the one hand, using this kind of living creatures, as I said; is a profit for all the humanity, because if scientists don't experiment, we will never be able to find cures. In addition, in the future we will be able to save patients with difficult illness, I hope, especially cancer.

On the other hand, there is a moral problem, the fact that the life of animals is in danger, the way in which living creatures suffer without nature. Also, some people say that we shouldn't allow to do that, but the person who is against, is because he or she hasn't ever thought about it; the real reasons for doing it. All the modern medicines from the experiments with animals..

Writing 2: ask for advice about a relationship

Hi Marta.

We've been on holiday here in Illes Canaries for a week now and I've just met this guy, Mark. He's absolutely gorgeous, but I'm not sure how I feel about him. I need your advice.

I met him on the beach yesterday and he invited me to play volleyball. Both of us were having a real laugh and then Mark invited me to a cocacola with his friends. When we were there, he basically ingored me and started flirting with a Spanish girl. But when I sad goodbye, he walked to the bus stop with me and neither of us could stop talking.

I've been thinking about things a lot since then. I'll probably se him later, but I'm not sure what to do if he asks me out. He seems very different when he's with his friends. What do you reckon?

Writing 1: An Account of a decade

The 2000's was a decade wich people will remember for many reasons. Specially for the new music, a lot of good things happened in football, and unfortunately, for many important disasters, too.

In the world of music, there were a lot of pop artists in the charts, for exemple Michael Jackson, Shakira, Beyoncé and others. About the sport there were a lot of important wins. For example FC Barcelona won six titles in the same season, including his firs Intercontinental Cup. The three most popular films in the decade of 2000 were: The Lord of the Kings, Gladiator and The Dark Knight.

On fashion women prefer fresh fashon but with a modern twist, little make up, natural hair but combining structured hairstyles fashon little 1960 and the men more adventurous and fun.

Finally, a lot of disasters happened. In 2003 eartjquake in Iran, in 2005 attack on the London underground, in 2004 Tsunami in the Indian Ocena, in 2006 the war crisis between Israel and Lebanon.
